For sale is Patriots legend Troy Browns game worn 2006 silver alternate jersey he wore in a victory vs the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium on December 17, 2006. This jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Patriots Pro Shop describing it as team issued from 2005 but I was able to figure out that it was worn in 2006 game vs the Texans. There is an Pro Shop ID number sticker on the jersey that has same matching number on the COA. Everything matches up right as the the numbers, logos and letters are aligned the same. This was the only game that season that he had just Brown on his nameplate as the other games that season he had T. I was able to get a copy of the the game on dvd and took a shot of him from the back showing that his nameplate just Brown like this one and letters line up the same way in relation to the numbers. This jersey has minor signs of wear as it was only worn that one game. The jersey is tagged with a 2005 year date when it was issued even thought it was worn in 2006. This is not uncommon with Patriots game jerseys. Brown had his last regular season catch at Gillette in this jersey. Troy Brown is one of the best Patriots of all time as he did it all. He played a huge role in the Patriots first Super Bowl winning season especially in the 2002 AFC championship game vs the Steelers. He is a 3X Super Bowl Champion, was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2001 and is a Patriots Hall of Famer. He defined what it meant to be a Patriot.
